It takes a strong individual to be able to thrive in that environment and not face significant mental and physical health problems.

In fact, did you know that lawyers are almost three times more likely to have suicidal thoughts than the rest of the public. 12% of lawyers versus 4.2% of the general population.

And if that’s not enough to make you reconsider your career choices, 28% of lawyers suffer from clinical depression, 21% struggle with alcohol use and 19% suffer from anxiety [NIH National Library of Medicine].

The good news is that there are some simple steps you can take to guard against stress that don’t add to your already cram packed day.

I’d like to invite you to join me for a free, one-hour workshop aimed specifically at dealing with the stress of practicing law. Get back to your original vision of practicing law and helping people each day.

This workshop will help you understand why you experience stress and anxiety and will guide you through the simple steps you need to take in order to rewire your subconscious.

  • You’ll understand the primitive processes that cause a stress response in the body.
  • We’ll do guided visualizations to observe the reactive nature of your mind and see how that causes your body to respond emotionally.
  • We’ll learn why your body responds in this extreme way even though there’s no “real” threat.

Once you understand what’s going on, stepping back and looking at stress subjectively is a whole lot easier.

  • You’ll learn to recognize stress forming in your body.
  • You’ll learn simple techniques to dissipate stress as it forms.
  • You’ll learn how to relax and release the stress from your body at the end of the day.

But the real skill you’ll learn;

  • How to reprogram your subconscious so you can override the stress response and turn it into something powerful instead.

YES, there will be breathing, and YES, there will be meditation, but all focused towards helping you become the greatest, powerhouse of a lawyer you could ever imagine. Warding off burnout, anxiety, depression or worse.

If you can’t attend the live session, you’ll be able to view the recording after the workshop has ended. But either way, you still need to register to reserve a spot.
